Dinner and service was outstanding on July 3rd! We'll be back!
I go back and forth between Tornado Room and Rare as to which is the best in Madison. Tornado has a more Traditional Wisconsin atmosphere and Rare screams high class all the way.
I have been to Rare Steakhouse twice recently to celebrate milestone birthdays and had an amazing experience! The food was outstanding and the service exceptional!!! I will not hesitate to frequent Rare for both business and pleasure with the pleasured comfort of knowing that it will not disappoint!

We waited, gave our order including appetizers. An hour after we were done our appetizer we asked for the the third time were our steaks were. The lied and said they were coming right out. We asked for our bill and was paying when the host told us our steaks were coming out. The were literally RAW and yet rock hard at the same time almost like they were microwaved. Literally the best steak I have ever had in my entire life! Service is great, place is nice and neat, and the bread is amazing. Highly recommend -- but the food is definitely pricey!
