About this business

The McMenamin brothers have made millions converting old elementary schools, nursing homes and pig farms into fun bars with good food and micro brews. This unique place is little more than the bottom floor of an old warehouse. Tables outside are on the sidewalk, while the inside is below ground level and features a large bar. Passporting, and this was one of my favorites. Interesting menu with a cozy, clubby atmosphere.

The food was delicious, but my favorite item there is the hard cider; black cherry, black berry, and pomegranate. All three are great. I just wish the were available near me.

Ordered some Cajun tots and they smelt & looked great at first glance but as we started to eat them we realized they seemed a bit greasy. Then you could see puddles of grease in the bottom of the basket and the underside of the tots on bottom were all pretty much soaked. Elk burger on the other hand was great! Maybe they just forgot to drain them it's unclear....

Business response:

Hi shawn. I am sorry that you received greasy tots. They should never be greasy then prepared correctly. I will address this with the managments team. Again my apologies. We can do much better. Scott.
