The McMenamin brothers have made millions converting old elementary schools, nursing homes and pig farms into fun bars with good food and micro brews. This unique place is little more than the bottom floor of an old warehouse. Tables outside are on the sidewalk, while the inside is below ground level and features a large bar. This use to be one of my favorites, along with Blue Moon, when I lived here in the mid-nineties. Ate here tonight with my son, and was reminded why I love Mcmenamin's. Great food, great service, great ambience. Bring it to Hawaii!!

Wonderful happy hour! The best prices for quality of food in the area hands down. I ordered the "Dry-Fried Brussel Sprouts" and the $ 2 YES ONLY $2 Cajun Tots (always a delicious). The brussel sprouts were absolutely amazing. The best part of my experience at Rams Head however, was the the cocktail menu. I don't have a lot of experience with "craft cocktails" but it was super interesting reading through all of their drinks. I went with "The Whisky Sour" mostly because it had egg whites in it. We were seated and asked if we wanted to look at the menu while we wait for happy hour to start, about a 10 minute wait. Totally cool, we love happy hour prices. Fast forward 40 minutes and someone finally comes back around to take our order. So we ordered a beer and a cocktail. Another 30 minutes go by and they still haven't shown up. So, tired of waiting and super disappointed, we left and will not be coming back.
