I had a great experience with Dr Mettu. I went to see him with a list of questions and concerns and he listened and answered every single one of them. He has great hands. The results were so natural that not one person noticed a change. Yes, I would go back to him again!
Dr. Mettu is exceptional. He is low key, highly intelligent, totally open and transparent and highly skilled. He informed me about all of my options and put no pressure on me to go through with a procedure he had defined as one of those options. He's very detail oriented and highly respectful- he walked me to the door of his suite when he finished a procedure. I wanted to hug him.
For me, Dr. Mettu was a God send. You just know he is "on your side" against the illness at hand.
Dr. Mettu provides excellent personal service in a COVID free office. He is a very compassionate doctor who is interested in solving your problem.
Dr. Mettu performed a surgery on my eyelid just a few years ago. He is great. Very professional, extremely competent. And a really nice guy. I would highly recommend him for any procedures in his specialities
This is an excellent, caring specialist. I would definitely recommend him to others! He recently diagnosed and unclogged an oil gland. I got an appointment quickly and he followed up by checking on me, which doctors rarely do these days. I will be seeing him if I have further eye problems.
Dr. Mettu performed eyelid surgery on right and left in November and December of 2020. The surgery was very successful and I can now see with no problems. He is an excellent communicator and a very accomplished surgeon . I recommend him for his knowledge and skill.
Dr. Mettu is an exceptional doctor, and I can’t say enough good things about his professionalism, communication, and caring manner. I am so impressed with the personal time and attention he gives at each visit. He has helped me so much with my Thyroid Eye Disease and I feel very fortunate to be under his care. He is a wonderful doctor!
After 2 failed Jones Tube attempts from a surgeon at Duke who eventually admitted that it was out of his league, I came to Dr. Mettu. He is amazingly kind and cares about his patients. He's very concerned about making sure the patient is well informed and is more than willing to answer any questions. Reaching him directly is easy and convenient, and he responds quickly. I can't say enough about how great he is. He's also very knowledgeable in his field and extremely professional.
