After 2 failed Jones Tube attempts from a surgeon at Duke who eventually admitted that it was out of his league, I came to Dr. Mettu. He is amazingly kind and cares about his patients. He's very concerned about making sure the patient is well informed and is more than willing to answer any questions. Reaching him directly is easy and convenient, and he responds quickly. I can't say enough about how great he is. He's also very knowledgeable in his field and extremely professional.
Dr Mettu took time to understand my medical history, do a thorough exam and explained the condition very well. He was very professional and polite. All insurance copay charges were clear upfront and I appreciated this. New patient scheduling is all done through text or through an online portal, not via a phone call, which some might find unconventional but it was very efficient.
Dr. Mettu did a bilateral ptosis repair for me. He was so patient and kind from beginning to end. I message him several times with questions and he responded immediately. Also, during my recovery he messaged me almost every day just to check in. I am so glad I found him and love my results!
I have a rare I condition called benign essential blepharospasm. For years, Dr. meetu has been very effective in treating this, non-surgically. My condition worsened considerably and ultimately required surgery He is conservative and precise. The result has been much more than l'd hoped for.
I had never met Dr. Mettu and he stayed after hours on a Friday evening to see me as an emergency. He was professional, knowledgeable, thorough and one of the kindest physicians I have ever met. On a scale from 1-10...a 10.

I had a small surgery on my eyelid. The doctor Pradeep Mettu is incredibly attentive, polite and professional. The operation at Raleigh Eye and Face Plastic Surgery was unplanned, kind of urgent. However, after discussing types of facial plastic surgeries with a doctor, I plan to come to this center for plastic surgery, regardless I planned to go to another center. An impressively positive experience of medical service.
My husband went to see Dr. Mettu in need of an easy eye procedure. The recommended surgeon from his cataract dr could not see him for 4 months!! Dr. Mettus saw him next day after contacting him to discuss the procedure, performed the procedure that same visit, and he is so happy with the results!! Very efficient, very personable, very pleased with how this was handled. So glad we called to check out Dr. METTU!! I am a RN, BSN, and am impressed with Dr Mettu. Would highly recommend him, as would my husband!!
