RDU does not care about the Raleigh community. They are ok to destroy the forest adjacent to our Umstead State Park with a quarry, for really no reason whatsoever but to line the pockets of Wake Stone.

They have very poor land stewardship. They want to clear cut a forest adjoining North Carolina’s most visited park and make it a quarry.

They do not care about the community who lives around them and would rather support big business and destroy local forests and what could be community space. https://www.rduforest.com/

The decision by RDUAA to lease public land for stone quarrying versus selling it as a critical land acquisition for Umstead state park lands has been a disappointing choice for the community. Quarries generate fine particle pollution that is detrimental to residents and families that use the park. The state's first privately operated quarry on public land, brought to you by RDU's Board and Dickie Thompson. The airport itself is quite nice. But the leadership on the board needs to go and needs clear headed thinkers who support the community. Here's a video link that expla... read more

Airport is convenient, yes, but the baggage claim/pickup sucks completely. It is consistently the slowest baggage of any major airport that I fly to or thru. On average it’s 30-45 minutes to get my bag and that’s with off-peak arrivals. Come in RDU, STEP YOUR GAME UP!!

Good flow, very few delays. Great places to eat, drink and be merry while waiting.

My mom left her Ipad at the Uber pick up area last night. Please let me know if anyone found it.
