United employee Janie Sadova forced me to pay for my bags, although my military status waived the fee. I had not paid for a bag for the past 5 years. When I tried to explain that to her she started yelling at me and threatening to kick me out of the airport. I even showed her paperwork that proved I was an active service member! I paid the fee to avoid her idiotic nonsense. However I was immediately refunded at the gate because for some reason every other employee knew that they are not supposed to charge me. RDU my home airport. It’s non chaotic, easy to find shops, bathroom etc...and substantial seating for passengers.
Airport is Clean, Accessible and safe. Ground transportation is not necessarily “the best” but provides Visitor information & signs upon acquiring Directions.
