Do not rent! Barely maintained apartments and a 5% rent increase every year(except 2020) for 9 years. Ceiling and floor are not isolated, so you can hear everything above you. And if your neighbors have bugs so do you, especially since they stopped sending exterminators in post-pandemic. Due to plaster on slat walls, cell signal only really works on the side of the apartment towards Cameron Village, and Bluetooth between rooms cuts out. No bathroom vents, and 2 of 3 apartments I stayed in didn't have a working kitchen vent. ... read more
Don’t live here, find any place else! There is NO AC unit and NO in unit washer and dryer. There are “heating radiators” in each room that cost roughly $200 per month to even keep one running in the main room, only to have a cold apartment. You can hear every movement from the people below and above you and your hallway will always smell like a cat’s liter box. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️(4/5) I’ve lived here since April 2024 and overall, I do really like my apartment. It’s cozy, rent has stayed stable (which is a huge plus these days), and when maintenance requests are submitted, they’re usually handled fairly quickly. The grounds are also well kept, which makes the complex feel welcoming. That said, there are some major areas that need improvement: 1. We’ve stayed here for almost a year now and the apartments themselves are spacious and affordable. Star is a real sweetheart. But other than that? We’ve dealt with mold (which has not been acknowledged by the management at all even though we put multiple request in for this problem, especially because my cat is asthmatic and I am very sensitive due to asthma running in my immediate family), roaches and now the absolute kicker is the mice that made themselves a home in our kitchen cabinets ( they are literally coming from the... read more
