Dr. Taliwal is very friendly, knowledgeable and patient. He explains things clearly and listens to any of my concerns. Outstanding doctor!
I have been a patient of Dr Taliwal since 2009 due to congenital lumbar and cervical issues and feel confident in his expertise and the level of surgical care and follow up he delivers. I appreciate the options we discuss before any surgical intervention and the possible outcome and expectations on both sides. Crystal Clinic is able to handle everything from MRI's to Surgery to Physical Therapy. The new Orthopedic facility exceeded my expectations and was a welcome relief from other less modern hospitals.
I have been to a few providers about my back, and he is just great! Kind, and caring, and so is his staff. I felt like they all really listened to my concerns, and came up with a game plan for my care, while keeping me involved and explaining things along the way. I would definitely recommend him to anyone with spine issues!
Did a very brief and incomplete exam of the nervous system. He sent me to pain management (despite the fact that I had only minimal pain). Pain management did a very thorough examination which lead to an accurate diagnosis. This should have been picked up by a neurosurgeon.
Was referred to him from another surgeon for a concern his remark was, I wouldn’t comment on their surgery. He shouldn’t comment on mine left with no answers.
I traveled from NC for an evaluation by Dr. Taliwal because of his reputation. I have severe, debilitating pain in both of my lower legs and was seen by Dr. Taliwal in hopes of finding the cause. He was very personable and concerned about my condition. He reviewed my CT and X-ray's with me and explained everything to me. He also scheduled me for an EMG the same day as my office visit and he was able to get the results the same day. I feel that my opinion is valued with Dr. Taliwal and his staff. I respect his experience along with taking the time to explain my test results and the options I am given for my health care.

Dr. Taliwal performed an emergency spinal fusion on my back. Unfortunately he was unable to meet with me prior to the surgery and I was a little concerned. However, the surgery went very well and I have since met Dr Taliwal and can confirm that he is a very caring physician. I would highly recommend Dr. Taliwal to anyone undergoing this type of surgery.
