Every time I get to Grapevine area it is a must!!!
Such a neat experience with all the animatronic animals. The food is a little overpriced but You are really paying for the experience.
Contrary to most reviews I read, the food was very good. We had an appetizer that we hot and fresh, and we ate off of the special menu. The food was hot and delicious, no complaints at all. Service was good, our server was stretched between many tables but was very prompt with any request we had. The food is average priced for a chain restaurant like Red Lobster etc. You may pay a few dollars more for your meal versus a place like that, but you are paying for the experience. My kids love this place!!! I just wish it wasn’t so dang expensive. You can’t do it without dropping $100. The food isn’t terrible it’s just not $100 quality. But overall, we will be coming back!
Rather much disappointed in Rain Forest, Grapevine. Tx. Did not compare to my previous visits to other Rain Forest Cafe locations which were superb! Bad service, crappy food! I have had frozen dinners, better!! Oh, and that includes alcohol beverages also. And, at the time we were seated, cafe not 2/3 full.
Very high prices for bad service and mediocre food. Guess we are paying for the scenery which is cool if that's all you're going for. I had steak and coconut shrimp. Shrimp was pretty good but the steak was tough and tasteless.
