My family and I were in Grapevine for Spring Break. It was my sons 9th birthday and he chose this restaurant for his birthday meal. He has never been to a Rainforest Cafe and he was so excited! We arrived at the restaurant around 8:00 PM on Monday evening. We were told it would be 45 minutes. About 85% of the tables were empty. (Possibly short staffed?). Food was delicious service outstanding but the wait was so long almost two hour wait
Sucks. Having a long wait for shitty food. No ty.
Service and atmosphere were great, food was terrible, especially for the price.
Horrible.... the hostess was very rude.. and we put our name on the waiting list and she said it was a about 2 hour wait.. and it actually took a little longer than that.. only waited bcuz of my kids.. (I would never wait that long)While waiting I would look through and there was always at least two empty tables.??. finally in ..long story short.. not worth it. Bad service, ok food ...
Good service and very quick to get our food. They were really good to accommodate a party of 2. Boo to the balloon maker who popped a balloon and hurt my grandson.
My kids an I drove 2.5 hours to Grapevine this morning for a special family occasion. We were told there would be a 45 minute wait to be seated. We were called up over an hour later. There were only half the tables in the whole restaurant being used! Once seated, an appetizer was ordered along with drinks. Our drinks arrived 15 minutes later and we made our food orders. Food was good, but the young lady taking the names for tables or reservations was very dry! She almost seemed annoyed when i wanted my name on the list, she said it would be a 2 hour wait.... which i knew was a lie! The first impressions matter a lot!!
