We arrived around 10 pm after a long drive. It took almost 30 minutes to get checked in as there was one staff member at the front desk checking in 2 pilots. Then it took 3 phone calls and letting the phone ring more than 30 times each call to get someone to take a room service order, since that was our only option for dinner so late. Nice place the catered food was not that great I expected more to be honest. I did not spend the night I was there for an event. Parking is a problem, that have no one directing it and it's a mess trying to get out of the ramp.
The hotel itself is amazing, and being connected to the mall is a great perk also. Most of the staff is wonderful except for a few idiots who treated us very poorly. So my boyfriend had made reservations with the 2 Nickelodeon Universe passes about 4 days prior to check-in(Saturday.) The total the website said was $238. Once we arrived at 4 to check-in (which IS check-in time) and were told that we might not even have a room because they were fully booked - even though we had reservations!!! Always a pleasure to stay at this hotel. The staff is extremely helpful and makes you feel like you are home. There Solimar Spa was outstanding and so convenient to have in the same building. We will be back!!!
