She promised the moon, she said she would redo an mri to see how I was healing but first she had me spend a ton of money on her upsells and then after I did all she said, paid everything, she suddenly announces there was nothing left to be done with my ankle, she said I needed a fusion but was too young. She said I had to stop all activity except buy a peleton!! This without redoing the mri, without a new xray, no new information. so she had the same information as initially but went from promising to heal me with surgery (a... read more

Dr. Balloch is a miracle worker!!! My lower leg and ankle were crushed in an auto accident 57 years ago when I was a teenager. Because of an infection, I lost all the ligaments and tendons in my foot and ankle. My foot was immobile and gave me great pain. Over the years, all the doctors I saw told me my situation was hopeless. I learned about Dr. Balloch from a friend of a friend. Although I live a long way from her, I went to her. She has done wonders and greatly lessened my pain. I have been her patient for many years and ... read more

My bar broke! All the paraphernalia, scooter, ice machine and stayed off my foot for months. Did everything she told me to. I have to go to an orthopedic surgeon to fix this. A total of 8 months of my life not driving, exercising, just sitting waiting for my foot to heal. Dr. Ballochs explaination is that “I’m unlucky”!! Unlucky is not having a orthopedic surgeon do this in the first place!

Business response:

We are sorry for the difficulties you experienced after your bunion surgery. We always provide clear communication and informed consent in every procedure, including discussing potential risks during surgical consultations. Regarding the plate issue, surgical outcomes can be affected by factors beyond our control, and we disclose potential complications beforehand. The comment "you're just unlucky" was meant to acknowledge the unfortunate event of device failure, not dismiss your concerns.

Dr Balloch suggested I buy several things from her as well as doing an unnecessary surgery. This was not a good experience.

What a team; Dr. Balloch and her staff are top notch! Everyone in the office is down-to-earth, caring, committed, and most importantly, extremely knowledgeable and highly-skilled. I am so glad I went to this practice after an unfortunate and painful foot injury. I have refrered friends with more complicated foot issues who have walked away (pun intended) with the most positive of outcomes! I highly recommend Dr. Balloch!

Dr. Balloch has been accessible from the time I met her on an emergency basis with an avulsion fracture (which was missed/dismissed by an MD at an urgent care facility) to a subsequent injury that she assessed and treated on the spot. She inspires trust and confidence, and is a direct and clear communicator who listens and cares. As a health care professional myself, I’d highly recommend her!

Dr. Balloch is very professional and nice. My physician’s office recommended her. I had very infected toes and was scared when she told me she needed to remove my toenail, as I had a horrible experience with that years before. She told me to look the other way, and I had no pain at all when she removed it. My toenails are healing, and I can’t wait for a pedicure! She is the best! Linda

Dr Balloch was a breath of fresh air the first time I consulted with her on my foot surgery. During the course of remaining under her care, she has remained true to her character. She is very knowledgeable, pleasant, and patient with questions. Furthermore she has a very calm and confident demeanor. Also she is an excellent surgeon! Her staff is equally pleasant and attentive to her patients. I will always be quick to recommend her to anyone in need of foot care.

Always in a rush, cuts you off mid-sentence, charges hundreds of dollars for a “30 minute office visit” when she spends less than 5 minutes with you. Had my appt 2 months ago ago, sent for an MRI but can’t get it until the doctor sends in the referral and it still hasn’t been sent. Staff is extremely rude.
