With the melange of regional favorites from all over Italy, co-owner and chef John Coletta presents both traditional cuisine as well as experimental items at Quartino. The restaurant is known for providing quality, handmade food, where almost everything is made fresh and within house. Try the salumeria tasting, it is quite impressive and with a variety of wines to go with the food, there isn't any surprise why the place is a firm favorite among Chicagoans.

I was here following the Christening of my great-nephew. The family loved everything about it. The food was fabulous, and the staff was even better. Everyone raved about the calamari. They said it was the best they ever had! And the Tiramisu was to die for! I’ll be back!
Food was great, service excellent, memorable setting! A Chicago Experience!
My daughter and I enjoyed a great lunch yesterday. Wine was great. We had caprese salad. Mozzarella was so good. Veal meatballs which were by far my favorite thing we had. The only thing that didn’t measure up to the rest of the food was the shrimp dish we had. There was only one whole shrimp. The rest looked like pieces of shrimp and in my opinion they were over cooked. All in all food was very good and I would definitely go back.
What a great atmosphere and wonderful experience. The service was good. Very friendly. Definitely will go again when I'm in the city.
Interior so charming — old time Italian vibe, beautiful. Delicious food - incredible staff and busboys. Dirty / done with plates do not sit on your table!

I dined with my brother and my mother for lunch and OMG all that we ordered was superb. Absolutely phenomenal. Lux Paul was our server for the afternoon and he was pretty hip, nice, & informative as well. Selections of wine and spirits are awesome. I’m a pasta freak, so even those selections were hard to not order them all 🤣. My brother ordered the Tortellini and spinach - mom ordered... read more
