It's a sad day when I have to complain about the customer service I received at this Publix that I always go to since it's close by. The cashier basically yawned in my face twice and didn't even greet me. What was even more insulting when I tried to make conversation about it being one of those days he agreed gave me a thumbs up and that was it.
Not sure why I keep coming here. I worked for Publix deli for two years (PCDC for five) so my heart and my retirement depends on Publix to be a premiere shopping experience. Three times, I have arrived at 9 pm to get a chicken tender sub but the sub station ingredients are bagged, cutting boards are removed and staff is uninviting. Staff openly complain to eachother about having to reclean or rewrap something because a customer ordered a sub. Oh, and chicken tenders are out. They are always out. Pretty disappointed. Unfortunately, this Publix is going further and further downhill. Every single time we are in there they no longer carry something or it's out of stock. Who does not carry Sunbeam white bread or Merita white bread?? These items are just an example. On repeated occasions we have attempted to purchase one or the other in the store will have neither. I generally like this store, but I had a bad experience today. I ordered a sub online and was given a time of 11:50 AM to pick it up. I arrived around that time and, since the sub wasn't ready yet, I grabbed a couple other items while waiting, including some hot chicken tenders. Well, turns out I should have gone ahead and eaten those chicken tenders at the time, because it was 12:10 before my sub was ready.
