Had a party of 5 plus baby, service and patience with our indecisive group was great. Cheddar biscuits and watermelon salad, veggie burgers, noyes burger all excellent! Cheesecake and bread pudding plus espresso to finish...compliments all around!
Business response:
Thank you for the fantastic review, Brenda! We hope you join us at PUBLIC again very soon. Cheers, The PKB Team
This is one of our go-to spots in the Twin Cities. My husband is a fiend for salmon and it's always spot on. I've tried many of the menu items and have never been disappointed. The wine selection is quite good and they offer interesting, well-made and tasty cocktails. We've always had exemplary service and prices are similar to other venues in the Twin Cities. We love the room, especially the seats overlooking Mears Park - when the lights are on at night it's magical.
Service is so bad. Place had only few tables filled (numerous waitresses and waiters) and still took 20 minutes to get drinks and almost hour to get food. There's only a few options on menu (all overpriced). Restaurant next door was completely filled and this place was empty. I can see why now.
I really wanted to like this place, but after waiting 20 minutes to be greeted by a server and another 10 minutes for drinks, I have to say we were super disappointed. However, the food was very good. Service definitely needs work.
Terrible customer services. Called to figure out an issue I had and was hung up on by the female manager.
