Called to ask about my bill, when I requested to talk to a supervisor,she simply replied by No! She refused to help me and put me on hold for more than 30 mins. Taking into consideration it took me more than 25 mins to reach them. They do change the bill amount if you have insurance, they raised mine by $5.5k once I gave them my insurance information . Unbelievable

RecommendedMy husband and I have always received top notch care at St Mary’s, in the E.R., the ICU, and on the medical floors. We’ve had same-day and longer-admission surgeries & recovery and have always been treated with kindness and complete professionalism. I feel safe at St Mary’s. My only complaint is that the food is generally not that good and isn’t available on demand (when the patient is hungry rather than only served at certain inflexible times of day).

You say you care about your caregivers. Then why are you making employees who are high risk work in COVID 19 clinics? Shouldn't you work to shield that part of your community? Isnt your work place culture based on caring for others, including the people who work for you? RecommendedI was at St Jude’s ER today. I was impressed with the hospital’s COVID-19 preparation and process. Kudos for your very well planned out process. No chaos and everyone knew what to do. Black tape sends possible Covid patients to a segregated room other patients follow white tape, opposite direction in a segregated room. The staff immediately triages the patients before they even take insurance info. In the actual ER there was a sense of calm although I am sure they know it will get worse.
