Palmetto Health Children's Hospital is a Hospital in Columbia, SC.
7 Richland Medical Park Dr, Columbia, SC, 29203, United States
Get directionsThis hospital is TERRIBLE. They are FULL of racist black people. They have totally contradicted themselves with the entire covid deal as their employees DO NOT follow protocol. Not to mention how ignorant the protocol is! They won’t allow both parents in at the same time to “limit covid exposure” however, once your kid gets into a room you can rotate parents???? Is that not exposing both parents anyway?? YES. It is. This is the most STUPIDEST hospital I’ve ever been to IN MY LIFE. Will NOT be back unless mine or my family’s ... read more
Just returned home from a 2 night stay with my daughter. All of the staff was amazing. From the transport team, to the nurses, to the woman who worked in the cafeteria who called us to see if we wanted breakfast because I had forgotten to call, to the cleaning crew, the people who checked you in and took your temp and of course her surgeon. Everyone was amazing. My daughter felt truly cared for there. Oh and how can I forget the child life people. They spoiled her to where she wanted to stay another day for more word scrambl... read more
Staff truly amazing. 4th floor rocks. I want to thank all the providers, nurses, aides for taking amazing care of my son and myself. Ms. Carol and Ms. Anna best RN’s ever. Hands down best experience 5 stars
my son had to stay for 3 days (2 nights) and this was hands down the best hospital stat we have ever had since he started having to make hospital visits. i dont jave one negative thing to say about the hospital staff. the nurses were all sweet on the 5th floor. one nurse (Meagan, i think) even took the time to walk with me to help me find the Starbucks kiosk. I appreciated that more than she will ever know. they made us comfortable and they checked on us regularly and made us feel like people. the eeg technicians were friend... read more

Big shout out to Austin C., Child Life Specialist❤️ He truly made my son’s visit for an endoscopy less stressful for myself and my son. Thank you!
we have been completely discriminated against on multiple occasions!! on June 9th my daughter had a Spinraza spinal injection. my wife was not allowed to go up with us "due to "coronavirus". only myself and my 14 year old were allowed to go. meanwhile other families were allowed to go right on through. In registration there were FAMILIES WITH MULTIPLE CHILDREN RUNNING AROUND, 2 PARENT FAMILIES, a mother with a baby and a CNA, BUT MY WIFE WAS TURNED AWAY AT THE DOOR!!! And they say they are LGBTQ friendly and that is a flat o... read more
I’ve been waiting on the emergency room for 6 hours for extreme nausea and vomiting as well as abdominal pain. No one has seen me or checked on me since triage. This is extremely unacceptable and reason why people don’t like coming to hospitals.
Great experience with staff
Just had a 10 hour stay in the emergency room for our two (almost three) year old. The staff were all so nice, caring and understanding. Helping not only our son feel comfortable but mommy and daddy too. We also wanted to thank y'all again and let the nursing staff know, he got his Hot Wheels track to go with his new cars. lol
