STAY FAR AWAY!! This is a horrible place to rent from. They are a cold-hearted machine that cares only about rent. They don't return calls and only rarely respond to e-mails. Nothing gets fixed on time. Their maint. people will fix one small thing and then never come back, requiring you to contact them over and over and they don't return your calls. Preferred Property Management is a great place to rent Excellent company to deal with, I would not rent anywhere else. Very highly recommended for anyone who wants a nice apartment for a good price and excellent customer service.
shady indeed so i had a horrific experience with the people in the office recently. and i dont even rent from them. to start things off, while filling out my application in the lobby, the maitnence man and one of the secretarys were talking openly about people they recently evicted, including names, and the reasons why they were evicted. imagine, college kids at a dorm complex were drinkin and partying? so they bragged about how they kicked them out at the beginning of the month and kept their rent and deposits. now i'm a re... read more
Do not pay money to apply with PPM! Do not pay money to apply with this company! They will rip you off! After reading the reviews of their renters; who would want their services anyhow? I applied for a property, after a couple posing as the property owners advertised the property, and showed it to us. This couple emailed us the link to PPM where we had to pay $30 to apply. I LOVE BEING REWARDED!!! I absolutely love Preferred Property Management. I started renting from them 4 years ago. When i moved into my house there were problems with it that needed to be addressed, i turned in my sheet (movein) and was pleasantly surprised by how fast they came out to fix them. i even had an issue with paying my rent last month and they worked with me instead of asking me to pay regardless of the fact that i was out of work for a couple of days and had a smaller paycheck. stupid I hate this stupid management company! They are complete idiots and ignore you when you are having issues with your rental. You will call them and they will get back to you with a confused response two weeks later. I think they need to shut down they are worthless pieces of crap. thanks
Don't Let Them Manage Your Property! Don't let Preferred manage you property!! We had to move out of state for my husband's job and would have lost money selling our house, so we wanted someone to take care of it and rent it out for us. This was in August 2012. We want out now. There is no security! Nope you heard it. Security comes by and scans the mailboxes to their points and then leave the premise. You will not see them again unless you make a call to have them come back. Kids are so loud and they don't do a thing. Must be too busy eating donuts and drinking coffee.
Don't make a mistake! I have rented for 45 years in 3 states. This is the worst landlord ever encountered. Horrible experience. Let the renter beware.
