Avoid this place like it’s the plague. These guys screwed my Christmas with family out of state who have cancer, forced me to lose money from a job because they wouldn’t order me a portable oxygen machine to enable me to do so. Now after 4 months of supposed “evaluations” I’m number 21 in line which means even more time wasted so they can make a buck off oxygen tanks. Oh and if they tell you they will call you back, don’t hold your breath. They don’t even call you back.

Be honest!! Been waiting for the tank regulator washers for a week now. We're told last week they were mailed out. Never received. Told Tuesday mailed another set and should receive today. Both by UPS. UPS has no record of either shipment! Something very wrong with this group and their quality control!

Been here 55 minutes. They still haven’t let me in for my appointment. At 1045. Their protocol is call when you’re here and we will have you come in when ready. Guess they aren’t ready. Good thing it’s not life or death. If you have a choice go elsewhere. Say on hold forever then they reschedule me for 130 as I missed my appointment. Um what.

This company is an absolute joke!! I have been trying to return equipment for 2 years and they can’t seem to get it right!! It’s ridiculous after several phone calls with agents and requesting supervisor call backs that there is no resolution and meanwhile I am being charged!! I just got off the phone with yet another person (Supervisor Fed) who said he will “try to get someone to come out to pick up the equipment today but if it doesn’t happen he will check tomorrow”. IF IT DOESNT HAPPEN??? are you kidding me?! Is this how ... read more

Run! Stay away from Preferred Homecare! If you have any ability to use a different home health company do so. Talk to your doctor or call your insurance company and ask if there are any other available home health companies. I have over 20 years in the health care business and can honestly say these folks are the worst! When I picked up my medical equipment I was never told about the total costs until months after--I could have purchased the equipment online for less with much less aggravation. I had talked with their repres... read more

Do not expect any help from the rehab department in order to get equipment. if my insurance allowed ma any other choice, I would switch. The department that supplies oxygen and oxygen could not be better. They are helpful, knowledgeable, and ensure you get what you need in a timely fashion. Not sure how 2 departments in the same company could be so different. I will be paying cash for what I need rather than try to jump through their hoops any longer.

Called PHC today (Saturday), and the after hours representative, Bridget, answered the phone. Explained that I have an electrical smell coming through the hose on my Bi-Pap when turned on. She said she would need to connect me to the office in my state because she was in Arizona and couldn't assist. When connected to the line the same recording came on that I received. Office is closed. No after hours assistance. Mind you I'm on oxygen and a sleep apnea machine. Using common sense I'm not going to use my Bi-Pap machine if th... read more

I no longer needed my oxygen and was instructed by Preferred Homecare that they needed authorization from primary care physician to discontinue. Primary care physician faxed them on 2/25/2020 to remove oxygen supplies from my home. Did not hear from them so had equipment returned on 3/3/20. Now they are charging another $155.00 and saying I had the equipment in my possession for a few days of billing cycle and that I was responsible to call them. NOT WHAT I WAS TOLD!!!

The worst customer service I have experienced in a while. The receptionist Michelle is hateful, and completely inconsiderate. She does not explain anything, and is quick to just shut her glass window rather than interact with her customer. If I had any choice with my insurance I would have went anywhere but here.
