Great food & clean bathrooms. Nice place to stop on the way home from a road trip to south Texas.
The brisket sandwich is so delicious and moist.its my all time fave.
Have always loved this place. I was in the area working so decided to pick up my lunch here and hit the road again. Everything was great but was missing my bacon on my cheeseburger. No big deal. It was really busy so it happens. Just hate it when I pay extra for it and it's not there. AGAIN!!!!

We stopped on our way home to Houston, bought a peach pie. When we cut into it, something wasn't right...it seemed not fully cooked. It was like two different kinds of crust were used on the pie, a cobbler crust with a lattice crust on top. The lattice and pie crust were done, but the "cobbler crust" was no where done. I put it in a 400 degree oven for almost 45 minutes and it still was not completely cooked. We live too far to bring it back, but I won't be stopping again. I had the 2 meat plate.. Sausage & brisket.. Beans & potatoe salad. Great Friendly Employees great atmosphere!
I just made spinach smoked Gouda with prasek beef sausage. I loved it.
Its a BBQ place where they have great thing to eat and beautiful antiques to look at or if you have money buy
