Returning to Houston from a Long trip from Brownsville...we were STARVED. We were going to stop in REFUGIO but they were out of power, and most food places were CLOSED due to Hurricane Harvey. So when we got to Prasek's placed the order, young man who took order said they ONLY had chopped beef sandwiches...which is okay cause WE WERE HUNGRY...when we got settled down with all our stuff our Sandwich was ICE COLD...it was not a good dining experience and it was almost 8pm...they didn't rush us, but they had that, "Almost done?... read more
Jerky was so good!!! Ice cream was not expensive & the sweet tea was exactly how I love it!! Overall great place. Little bit pricey on some items but other than that it was great. Plus Super clean restrooms!!
Awesome BBQ also different variety of sandwiches to chose from. Great pies and cookies as well.
We have to stop here everytime we drive by. I love the fresh beef. We normally buy the ribeye steaks.
I thought the food was going to be good... my take out dinner had coleslaw and potato salad from a tub. There's no way either was made fresh. And the brisket was almost tasteless. So sad! It would have been nice to have another option in Sealy.
Great place getting a little pricey but we don't go that way much so stopping every time we do its OK...Mikeskas down the Rd. Is smaller but more down to earth. Friendlier service. However 29.95 a lb. For beef jerky is outrages...asked for $5 worth and got 5 very small strips...ice cream was always a childhood stop here...now I know why..
