RecommendedDr. Machado repaired my traumatically fractured wrist and Julie Obear was my physical therapist. At my 16 week post surgery follow up I am happy to report a full, functional return of strength and range of motion with resulting decreased edema and pain. Perfect outcomes! Dr. Machado and his staff are professional, efficient, friendly, and take the time to really listen to their patients. I highly recommend this clinic for orthopedic needs.
My husband lost the tops of three fingers in an accident at work about 14 months ago. Dr. Machado did his surgery and has been taking care of his hand ever since. I can’t even begin to sing his praises enough. My husband truly received extraordinary care and we are so thankful!

Had a fantastic experience with Dr. Harlbut and physical therapist John Chatwell. Considering what I was going through was a fairly common shoulder injury, the diagnosis was quick and the line of treatment prescribed was effective. Among the highlights of my experience was not being upsold - never once from diagnosis through the end of physical therapy did I feel like I was being kept there longer for insurance billing purposes. I truly felt my health was their top priority. Kudos to everyone involved.
I want to thank Dr. Machado and the team at Prairie Orthopaedic and Plastic Surgery, PC for the outstanding experience I had with my wrist surgery and follow-up. Dr. Machado took the time to explain the procedures and treated me like I "mattered". Thank you so much! Highly recommend.
I was rescheduled by them TWICE, with very short notice. Once because Dr was out of the country in Brazil. Then I had to wait two weeks for an appointment only to have them call me the day before to cancel it because they don’t schedule new patients at the time I was scheduled.. why did you schedule me there in the first place?
Dr. Byington did a total knee replacement on me, his attention to detail and explaining the process (including 3D models) so you have a total understanding of your procedure is so refreshing...cuts down a lot of stress on not only the patient but the family too. My procedure was done at Lincoln Surgical Center and again TOP NOTCH staff, I was always attended to promptly. I am shocked by how little pain I am in, more of a discomfort.
