Ordered a SkyLight dome cover. (7/7) Scheduled a contractor for the repair work.... After 8 days,(/15) I began to wonder where was my dome cover? Called Customer Service After a bit of a wait with really BORING elevator music and reminders of why PPL the ABSOLUTE BEST at EVERYTHING!!, a rep answered... I asked about my order number.. We were very pleased with the staff of Justin, Trevor and Rae at the Cleburne PPL location as they successfully sold our used travel trailer in a short time period to our satisfaction. Be very careful of service dept. We took our motorhome to PPL August 17. October 3 they notified us that that the headliner on the cab was coming down. They said it was from the heat and moisture in the Houston area. We ask if there were any water stains because if there were we would file an insurance claim. They assured us there was no stain and it was not insurance related. They said the wrong caulk was used on the roof and the roof needed to be scraped and resealed. The bill was just shy of $2500. PPL in Houston is an exemplary company with which to do business. ALL employees, from the president down, are courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. They took care of all our concerns with the rv we purchased. Our experience with PPL was the best we have had with any other in the past. All retail companies, no matter the product, would do well to follow their example.
We ordered a Dometic AC from this place since it was cheaper. Never again! I'd rather pay more from a company that will actually respond when you call or email. The AC was messed up after we installed it and this place wouldn't respond to emails or return my calls. I had to take this thing apart and fix the fan myself. I don't recommend this place. Once they get your money they ignore you. Very unprofessional.
