I grew up and went to grade school with the eldest Potratz children. I got to know their parents and their grandparents that founded the business. They are all hard working honest people that take time to help all of their customers. This is the still the only place I shop for all my house plants. They have a very large selection of plants and the staff is very helpful when you need plant care help. This is why they’ve been in business for 100 years and I recommend that they deserve continued support by our community.

there are sooo many plants to choose from. the employees were nice and helpful. great experience, will definitely come again.
My daughters and I LOVE walking through the greenhouses looking at all of the beautiful plants. We grab a coffee and spend an hour or so basking in the greenery. It is a great way to keep the winter blahs at bay. An unbelievable variety of plants to purchase!

I ordered a plant from Potratz that arrived in rough condition. After contacting the greenhouse regarding the plant's shape, they sincerely apologized and sent a new plant that was beautifully and securely packaged. Impressed!
