The kitsch of the place is fantastic. Food pretty good, huge portions. I'd give them 5 stars if it weren't for the upcoming paragraph. Let's talk about the waitstaff. We had a waitress named Amy. Complete with a hickey on her neck, and they must have sucked the kindness right out of her. Old school home cooked meal And throwed rolls. I love this place.
Slow service, long wait, hot inside and we had to get our own set-up. They hardly checked on us. Sad, sad so sad. Food decent.
Ilike the way the biscuits are thrown at you. ...But as far as the food I only had a hamburger and onion rings and that as delicious so...I cant complain about it. .......except when I was finally about to eat some ranch with my fried tomato it was a hair IN my Ranch......nice food though. ....lmaooo
There was a hair in our fried pickles that we noticed after eating only 2 pickles. Told the waitress and she said she would comp the pickles and asked if we wanted more. We said sure. She then brings our food and of course we were full by the time our pickles came back out. So she says I took $5 off your bill. The pickles are $6.90 I don't mind paying for stuff I order..but if you say you are going to do something then do it! My mom's chicken and dumplings were beyond gross. Won't be back.
Use to be great but not anymore. Chicken fried steak meat tasted rancid. Wait staff is inattentive and has a give a crap attitude. Had a bad experience previously but thought it was just a bad day but I guess not. This was the last time for me.
Some people many not like this review, but to be honest, this place is a shit hole. I know because I've worked there.
We waited for 45 minutes and never got food! This was the first time in years that we were willing to risk it again, & this will be our absolute last!
