Actually more of a 4½. The food was awesome! I had the Chicken Fried Chicken with Mashed Potatoes, Brown Gravy & Broccoli. The portions were great! The warm "Throwed Rolls" and muffins (Blueberry & White Chocolate Chip) where awesome! I've never had Fried Green Tomatoes and they were really good! Next time I'm in the H-Town area, I'm definitely going back!! :D

I used to go here all the time up untill 2005 then moved. Well we went for my girlfriends birthday yesterday and told them it was her birthday and we got to watch someone else get a little cake and get birthday song BUT we got none of that and after waiting 30 to 40 minuets on food and drinking warm ice tea , we decided to call it quits and go. The food was good, the atmosphere was fun, and the service was friendly. The rolls and muffins were truly the highlight though. :)
Been here almost an hour have seen one muffin. Had to ask for rolls. Yes food was great wait staff wonderful. But did miss catching my rolls.
Been there many times. Unique, usual , food is good, portions excellent. Love the throwed rows and muffins. One in a kind. Will miss it since I have moved.
Great place to eat. If you like country cooking, this is where to go. Best chicken fried steak I ever had. Good service, atmosphere, and food.
The closest thing to a family diner we have in the area. GREAT food with sinful deserts
