I've had jerky thicker than my pork chop. It was dry, cold, and overly salty for someone who loves salt. Baked potato was cold. Salad was pathetic. The manager was notified and was supposed to come to the table. Never did. My replacement meal came after everyone else ate so I got it to go. I left it behind because it was sad. Me and my family loved it a lot , and roll throwing was awesome, I’ve only seen that in Brandon , Missouri. Great food and service.
My husband and I went yesterday for lunch, it was NOT busy. We had to ask for the free fried okra and fried green tomatoes. The muffin guy came around once then came around one more time with rolls. No more rolls or muffins. Had to ask for butter, ended up with a paper cup of margarine. I ordered fried pork chops, they were very very thin. Hubby ordered steak and all you can eat shrimp. I'd forgotten why I quit coming, wasn't my choice of restaurants. Rude checkin, the hot rolls did not come over to the poor side of the room until we'd asked about 5 times. Finally some kid shows up and when we asked where he'd been, he told us he has to go outside to blow his nose and then go to the bathroom because he's sick and they didn't tell him he was supposed to work both sides of the room.
