Volunteered at an outdoor event, the grounds are absolutely beautiful, as is the winding drive into the lodge. Very pastoral around the lake.
What a beautiful location - and loved the Lodge concept. Was not aware that I'd be sharing the commons with others :). We signed up to run the PostOak Half Marathon, and had a great time. The only reason I didn't rate this with 5 stars was because of the 11 am checkout. The race started at 8 am, and it took us close to 3 hours to finish, which means we did not have time to shower after the event. Thankfully our suite mates took pity on us and let us use their room.
