Founded in 2011, Portside is a locally owned and operated small batch producer of hand crafted beer and spirits. Our Brewery and Distillery and Pub, overlooks Lake Erie in Downtown Cleveland’s East Bank of the Flats. We are northeast Ohio’s first brewery and distillery, and we pride ourselves on providing unique experiences in our pub as well as through tours, tastings and private events. I attended Andrew's graduation party this past weekend. It was a fun time! Great food, great drinks, and great company! I would highly recommend stopping by and having a drink or two!! Love the Christmas Rum! Took a bottle home with me, and a couple of T- shirts.
It is mostly drinks ... They are good tho. Food menu is VERY limited. Service was wanting. We were the only other customers so it wasn't like they were understaffed..
This was a great little place with outstanding beer!! The bartender was super sweet and fun! We will be back! Thanks Gabrielle!
was there this evening,and could not get service, waisted ten minute at the bar just to be ignored as the the two girls behind the bar had themselves a nice little conversation, sat a table and still nothing not even an acknowledgment that I was even there, overall it was 45 minutes before a server even spoke to me, I was waiting on friends and it wasn't til they arrived that a server came over, when I mentioned the lack of service he was less than apologetic, so needless to say if you are looking for good service this is no... read more

I've been on brewery tours everywhere from Fort George in Astoria (OR) to Harpoon in Boston, and was thoroughly impressed by the one my girlfriend and I went on at 3:30 yesterday. Tess, who hosted the tour, was friendly and quite knowledgable on the beer and rum we were about to consume, as well as the inner workings of the brewery/distillery. As we neared completion, Tess referenced keeping an eye on the bar itself, to assist the other bartenders in serving customers, as they were starting to become busy. That's teamwork ri... read more
