Founded in 2011, Portside is a locally owned and operated small batch producer of hand crafted beer and spirits. Our Brewery and Distillery and Pub, overlooks Lake Erie in Downtown Cleveland’s East Bank of the Flats. We are northeast Ohio’s first brewery and distillery, and we pride ourselves on providing unique experiences in our pub as well as through tours, tastings and private events. Tonight my experience was awful, we ordered drinks which were very awesome so kudos to the brew master. However, the bartender tonight was the worst I have had in a very long time. We arrive around 7:45pm ordered beers and water, we finished them and literally sat there for about 35mins after our drinks were gone and NOTHING!!! He walked past us several times completely ignoring the fact that our drinks were empty. I am a bartender and this is so not how things are done in my neck of the woods. Great beer, great atmosphere. This would be an excellent place to grab a post work drink and talk business with a colleague or client. Staff and management are super friendly. Having their own parking lot is a plus!
