Sirius Black visited PVS for treatment of his hyperthyroid... Everyone was super nice to my baby and very understanding of my psychotic parent behavior. Things could not have gone any better and I am delighted that my cat handled it so well and that the professionals there were so wonderful. I’m so grateful to have him home!
Bea had a pretty intense form of a mass cell tumor. The team was very welcoming, full of information and not scared to talk about hard truths. They are honest caring humans who want the best for animals. As of today, Bea is a cancer survivor.
We would definitely recommend Portland veterinary specialists for the wonderful care Dr Benedict and Dr. Mason and all the techs gave our 12 year old silky Emma. They truly have a lot of compassion and it shows in the care they give. Thank you for getting Emma back to her spunky self.
We were passing through on the highway when our dog had a cyst rupture. Luckily we were close by to this wonderful place. They got us right in and took excellent care of her. Everyone there was so nice and their office is so clean! I would highly recommend this facility!
We are so grateful for Dr. Gail Mason and the incredible team at Portland Veterinary Specialists. Our kitty had inoperable liver cancer, and we were told by our local vet that we should put him down immediately, even though he was not yet suffering. Thanks to the PVS team we were able to keep him comfortable at home and they provided guidance, care, monitoring, medications and treatments that gave us four more beautiful months with him. We called it cat hospice. He was able to live long enough to hear the birds sing in sprin... read more
They are just wonderful there. I brought my cat Glimmer in today for chronic bladder/urinary tract infections and Dr. Noble and Kristen made me feel comfortable right away and took great care of Glimmer. She has a course of medications and some new food to keep her healthy and should be just fine. Thank you all so very much!
Just had my first appt with Dr. M in the Optho department and it was probably one of the best vet appts I’ve had in Riley’s life. Very gentle, caring staff who made Riley feel calm through the whole appt. Anne (the technician) helped with treats too! Recc 10/10. ♥️
We were referred here by our Veterinarian in Brunswick. My pup had a giant mass in his abdomen that was causing him discomfort. After the surgical consult they operated and he came home the next day! Their staff are so nice, prices are very reasonable and the Doctors are amazing! I couldn’t be more happy. And I’m sure after my pup has healed he will be good as new!
