My beagle was hit by a car. My local vet sent us down to Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care to be seen( after stabilizing him to the best of their abilities). The staff here were amazing. Everyone we saw was compassionate, caring, and experienced. They walked us through the process( no easy feat being as traumatized as we were). My dog chloe has been seen on two occasions with an upcoming surgery to remove one of her eyes. The staff have exceeded my expectations of friendliness, compassion and empathy during our visits. They are a truly knowledgeable and trustworthy team that will get to the root of the problem and help you through the treatment plan.
Every day we are just so thankful for you saving this little guy. He broke his elbow last fall, but you would never guess it the way he has recovered. He still plays hard & loves life. Thank you!!
Portland Veterinary Specialists continue to exceed my expectations for pet care. Our beloved basset saw Dr. Cory Mosunic for an Opthalmology appointment. The care team did an amazing job keeping my pet calm and comfortable through the eye exam process. They were very thorough and helped me to understand her diagnosis, treatment, and care. Your love for your patients is very evident in all you do. Thank you for quality care.
PVS is great. Went into their emergency clinic Saturday night with a very sick cat. Unfortunately, it was his time and i wasn't ready. The vet was very gentle and assured us we were doing the right thing euthanizing him. The entire staff was very nice and offered their condolences. They let us take as much time we needed before and after. It was a terrible thing to have to go through but the staff made it more bearable. Thank you PVS.
