I've had childhood abuse and trauma. State-specific responses--PTSD--shows up at the dentist office. I also have unusual sensitivity in my head (hair pulls are excruciating, dental work has been almost unendurable.) I cannot express enough how wonderful this team at Portland Family Dentistry has been. Dr. Agee took the time to listen to me and what I need during procedures. I trust his competence completely. My appointment today with Portland Family Dentistry was excellent. The care I received was what I have come to expect from them. A high level of competence and skill, combined with genuine caring. That is a tough combination to find, but you find it here. Annie, my hygienist, does a spectacular job and she makes it fun too.
As usual, Annie was thorough, professional, gentle, and entertaining, while making my teeth sparkling clean. Dr. Agee kindly advised a root canal. Mickie provided me with a timely appointment for next week, then gave me flowers as I departed. I always feel special at Portland Family Dentistry.
Friendly and professional staff. Nice office. If you have to go to the dentist, this is the place. Remember to bring a milk bone for the office mascot Ralphie.
I have been a patient of this office since Dr. Richard Knight first started as a dentist here in Portland. The care has always been excellent! Dr. Agee and staff have continued with outstanding care. I am grateful to be a patient and in the hands of such capable talented people.
The daily N.Y. Times is always on the waiting room! Only problem is, there is very little time to read it because Dr. Agee and/or his assistants are just about always on time. It's a given that Dr. Agee is one of Portland's top notch dentists, which is why I chose him. But it is an added bonus that he is also a really good guy!
I received excellent care as usual. Highly recommend this dental office.
As usual I got in on time and Annie did a great job cleaning and chatting. the women at the desk were friendly as always, offering coffee and they even sent me home with a flower. Just FYI Dr Agees office is very in lived in the local community and currently has a winter clothing drive going on. Great place
I have been going to Portland family dentistry for more than 15 years and have always found the service excellent. Today was no exception. From the moment I walked in the door to the time spent on teeth cleaning and dental exam, the people were highly skilled and very friendly. Thank you Mickey, Jordan, Annie, and Dr. Agee!
