About this business
Ponchatoulas was founded in February 1996, by original owner Johnny Gaudet, who then partnered with Chris Garriga in 2004. With a passion for good food and fun, Gaudet opened the restaurant on the bustling Park Avenue in downtown Ruston. The building housed a fire station in the early 1900's, complete with the big red fire truck and even horse-drawn carriages lining the downtown streets. The service n food is always good
Excellent food. I had the seafood platter. Everything on the plate was excellent. If u eat there make sure to try the hand battered onion rings. Delicious
Great service & tasty food!
Food was delicious. We had catfish & fried shrimp platter. Onion rings were perfect. Menu is heavy on crawfish dishes. Atmosphere is great. Wait staff friendly and knowledgeable. In spite of the crowd for families celebrating Grambling graduates, we never felt overlooked or had to wait for service.
