I am beyond upset at the sheer incompetence and the abjectly horrible customer service I have received from PNC Bank; for the past three months I have been desperately trying to get copies of bank statements from 2016 as I need them for an IRS audit. They lie and falsely advertise. One of their loan officers admitted they get continual complaints about lying and "misinformation" from customers. I'm appalled! They lie about annual fees, whether or not your guaranteed a fixed rate, and the list could go on. It's disgusting that they get away with not misleading their customers but straight up lying and running a shady business. Stay far far away from this place. PNC is the most idiotic mortgage company ever! The county changed my road name so my home address changed. It's like this has never happened before and threw PNC in a quandary. I sent proof of address changed time and time again and they still couldn't get it. It took months of harrasing letters! Finally they got it changed. Oh, so now the mortgage we owe is now going to a different address and sending me threats of not having insurance now. Awful place to bank with. I originally opened my account with Simple who I was more than happy with their customer service. But the transfer over to BBVA has been nothing short of a nightmare. It's difficult to get ahold of anyone they are hard to understand no matter who you speak to. My account had some fraud on it and I got locked out yet I also got locked out of my online banking and there are zero branches in my state, so before they would do anything for me I had to send in a copy of my ID a selfie and some other infor... read more

Worst bank I've ever dealt with!I had a *********** account which I loved. Then BBVA took over and it went down hill fast. I had to set up automatic withdrawals all over again and their mobile interface isn't intuitive at all. Then I realized they started charging me transfer fees between my bank accounts which Simple didn't. This isn't true. I found a way after my 2nd call with BBVA to send myself a check for the remaining balance without incurring a fee. And if they were able to send me a cashier's check the whole time, why didn't they do it when I asked the first first several times? The Customer Rep and Manager both flat out told me they couldn't send me a check and close my account. So either they were lying on the phone, or they are lying in their response here!

ZERO STARS ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED WITH ANY BUSINESS. I have tried updating my contact information in person, at a local branch, and still found it not to be correct. If you need to call customer service for any reason make sure you have at least an hour to waste in effort of trying to get the person on the other line to understand you and have a half a clue of what they are doing, and be prepared to receive NO help at all only frustration! Why is there a "shortage" on bank cards. My wife has been without a card for almost 2 weeks. She ordered one and checked on it to be told that it would be coming but BBVA could not provide a tracking number, weird. She called back and was told that the previous representative misinformed us and that BBVA is dealing with a plastic shortage for bank cards.
