I am a long-time customer of PNC. I have taken out multiple home equity loans with them in the past. I have always made payments timely and paid the loans off when I refinanced my home. My wife and I have outstanding credit and plenty of equity in our home. We refinanced our home this summer and paid off our home equity loan once again. I have now been trying for three months to obtain another home equity loan with absolutely no movement. I have been told for three months that it is in underwriting. I have never had this iss... read more

PNC is a horrible Customer Service bank & the online app including mobile app is the worst I have seen, Sometimes shows your account activity & sometimes it doesn't. My local branch has tried being helpful, however often it is out of their control since the acquisition of BBVA bank has been Nothing but Smooth. There has been many previous employees of BBVA leaving due to the lack of support from PNC cause it is not the BBVA employees fault, It IS the lack of support from PNC. The WORST BANKING or MERGE I have seen. Know I lo... read more

PNC bank bought out BBVA and the switch over was the first of October 2021. With no warning we lost access to all funds in all four of our accounts from the first of October through the 6th. We were told that anything we had on autopay through the bank or our debit cards would still go through but they have not and they still don't and now we have to pay all of the fees associated with late/non-payment in addition to the loss of "bonus discounts" for consistent on time and autopay payments totalling $115 per month. There hav... read more

PNC put a block on my account, for no reason, when I called PNC, they had me on hold for 5 hours just to speak to the fraud departmentt, fraud department told me that they can't verify my info, so I told them that I want the remaining balance that I had on account to be sent my address on file and they refuse to send me my money, they told I have to go to a branch and I told PNC, I don't any service from them just send me my money. PNC refuse to send me my money, the agent hunged up the phone on me.I'm begging people to stay... read more

I've been with them for 3 years. I have had the atm eat my cards, then they said they couldn't make me cards because there card machine was down. I had over $100 in my account and woke up to -$307 because their system allows them to remove things from your account until it posts. They never help with the overdraft charges and they never acknowledge that they are making mistakes. Like they told me I over **** my account on the 18th but if I still had over $100 when the day ended then how did I go so far into the negative espe... read more

SUCH a set back from BBVA. The merge/buyout of BBVA to PNC was one of the WORST mergers that ever was made. For "7th" nationwide, it's insane how back in the times PNC seems to be. The website is such a downgrade coming from BBVA, it's like whoever created PNC's online banking site it made it back in ****. I'm used to having pending transactions, like any online back will show you. However, with this stupid PNC account the way they "show" when money went out/the actual date when you spent it completely inaccurate. Makes budg... read more

They bought out my BBVA account and it has been nothing but trouble ever since. The app is garbage. More features are broken than functional. The customer service/support is non existent. They claimed the merger would be seamless but its been anything but. This has been the absolute most stressful banking experience I have ever been through. I will not be banking with them any longer. I encourage every previous BBVA customer to walk away as well. There is no justification for this businesss practices.

I was switched from a free checking account to one with a service fee without my knowledge or consent. They will not release my funds or close my account.

A BBVA customer hacked my husbands federal MyPay.mil account and had his paycheck sent to their own BBVA checking account. It was reported to the bank by us and by DFAS who sent the payment and demanded a refund. The account was frozen. BBVA still allowed that customer to withdraw the money and close the account. They then refused to cooperate with us, and tried to say it was up to our normal bank, Truist, to resolve even though they never had the funds. If I try to call them I spend hours on hold and then am told they canno... read more
