The Pleasant Cafe has been specializing in Italian and American food since the late 1930s. All of our sauces, dough, soups, gravy are made daily in house. We are known for our pizza which brings in customers from all over New England. Hand rolled thin crust cooked to perfection with a cheese blend that was shredded that day from a large block of cheese. What could be better? Bring the whole family, dine happily and leave without breaking the bank.

Went there yesterday. Stood for about 5-10 minutes waiting to order takeout pizza. White man who came after me was greeted and attended, and still, continued to be ignored. Customers are just as rude. Woman yells behind me “move!” just so she could sit on the waiting bench.
Small menu, good portions. I liked it. That's all I got to say about that. Oh yeah, very affordable.
Has been the best since I was a child!! Always a family favorite! A true landmark in Boston!
Haven't been there in years and the place was just the same as it was the last time I was there. Great memories of going there with my grandparents. Oh and the food is delicious. And a great value. Awesome neighborhood restaurant/bar.
