The Pleasant Cafe has been specializing in Italian and American food since the late 1930s. All of our sauces, dough, soups, gravy are made daily in house. We are known for our pizza which brings in customers from all over New England. Hand rolled thin crust cooked to perfection with a cheese blend that was shredded that day from a large block of cheese. What could be better? Bring the whole family, dine happily and leave without breaking the bank.

visiting the Pleasant cafe was indeed one of the highlights of our trip, all the way from Norway :-) the place itself was like walking into a movie. The owner took his time to welcome us himself, and the waitresses were smiling and went out of their way to make us feel right at home...our food came in portions large enough to feed an army....not to mention the fabulous cheesecake I had for dessert...Thank you for a great night
Hey next time I order a pizza , it would be nice if you didn’t hand me a pizza that’s been sitting out for around an hour. It was hard as cardboard and warm at best. Actually don’t want to eat it. Usually really good pizza. Really unfortunate , I thought I found my pizza spot. Guess not
Whenever I visit my parents, this is where we usually go. In rozzie, it's either pleasant or johns for pizza and johns doesnt exist anymore. Their veal parm is incredible and my Ma loves the prime rib. Plus, some of the nicest and friendliest people around. Makes me miss being a rozzie rat.

Grew up in Rossie. Walked to the Pleasant as a kid. Met my friends from Marshfield there so we could do a memory tour of their grandparents houses. Small world. Moe, our waitress, knew friends in common too. Great day. Best pizza eva

The food was fab. Old world Italian, Just like Grandma used to make ! It doesn’t hurt that they are generous with their drinks too!
