I usually love this place. I've never had bad food here. The service, however, is a toss up. I ordered a meal for takeout to be ready for 3pm. I got at 3:30 expecting to pick up my food. When I came in, the woman at the counter said the kitchen would be a couple more minutes. Not ok, because I had ordered the meal for 3, but bearable. I thought to myself that maybe it was in a warmer or something since I had come late. Obviously not, because I didn't get my meal until 3:45. Worst food and atmosphere I have experienced in a looong time. Margaritas had no booze. Food was cold and disgusting. Kids pizza was soggy and most likely prepared in a microwave. Service was slow, needed to interrupt the manager from his texting at the host stand to get a kids menu. Music was loud, couldn't hear the people across the table from me. Just awful.
When it first opened in 2011 it was definitely 5 stars. Food and service has definitely gone down over the years. The menu changes every few months, and they get rid of the best things. The chango and tortilla soup were items that should definitely not have been taken off. The drinks are very weak. The take out service is awful. This use to be a fine establishment to enjoy mexican food. Ever since they changed their menu it has gone completely down hill and is just down right terrible. Food is ok and drinks are totally unreasonable in price. I ordered a large coconut margarita with 1800 in it, cost me $16 and the menu price is $10. Argued with management about the price and they said 1800 is expensive tequila lol. They would not adjust the price, if you want bad overpriced drinks you might as well go into Boston.
