I went here last night. I had ordered 2 drinks for myself and 2 drinks for my husband. I originally ordered frozen margarita. He brings out on the rocks had he not been in a rush or wrote it down he would of gotten it right. He fixes it no big deal. Then we placed our order. 35 min later!!! Mind you the waiter said it’s coming out soon. Then he says the machine didn’t read our order. I ordered the carna Asada tacos. Always good! Margarita was great! Our waiter was very nice and the taco salad and shrimp tacos were also good.
I’ve been here a handful of times, however, I came by last week and experienced the worst service of my life by a server named karen and I won’t be back because of it. I work in the industry and can understand if someone had a bad day, but it was actually disgraceful service. the food is subpar, and every time I’ve ordered food it comes out wrong anyway. also, apparently any flavored house margarita is $18 and they’re very much not worth that at all.
Not only did our waiter get our order wrong and make us wait the longest I've ever waited at a restaurant, we got the bill and the flavored margaritas were $18 each. Our entrees didn't even cost that much! I brought it up to someone at the front desk on the way out and they were incredibly rude, asking if I asked for a price, since it wasn't listed on the menu. We decided to stop by Plaza Azteca for one drink. First time for us. We said, "why not"! We were on Christmas vacation it was an experience to have with my wife. We sat at the bar and ordered two margaritas. Bartender asked what kind of tequila did we want. She began to mention the names of tequilas. We chose Don Julio. She came back with the drinks and the bill. I was surprised to see that it cost $14.99 for each drink. Mr. Gonzales, our prices are set at the industry standard. As in the case of any business, once finished eating or drinking any item it needs to be paid. We would be forced to call the police because you were refusing to pay. That is called theft. Im sorry but that’s not anyone’s wrong doing but yours. When visiting any establishment in the future, if the prices are not listed it would behoove yourself to ask for the price before hand ensuring you are not surprised when the check arrives.
