Love their prices..very nice staff Good purse selection..shoes...etc.. And I understand the staff has to follow guidelines one what they can purchase from the public..
Took some new, very nice clothes and shoes in there today. I was told to wait 35 mins and I did. The staff seemed rude and made me feel very uncomfortable. I felt like I wasn't welcome at all. I took 2 baskets in there, I got one item sold to them. I saw clothes in there that were worse looking than mine. They said they passed up the clothes due to 'To much wear' half the clothes weren't even worn. Not happy with how it turned out.
they never go through all my stuff. I am always told its either to out if date or "not clean" or has stains. and when i ask them to show me they say they can't remember which ppiece of clothes had the stains. ive taken things in with TAGS STILL ON and get told the same thing. I SEE stuff in there that is not "in date or style" all the time or is very dirty or stained or discolored. I occasionally get someone nice but thats very rarely.
Have gotten several shirts and pairs of pants from here. Great selection of name-brand styles. Can't beat the prices, especially for the quality you find. Great experience!
They treated a good friend of mine like some kind of common trash she was treated and talked to like she was a thief. Outright accused of it . She is a good person and didn't deserve this . She's a better person than I am I would be filing a law suit for that garbage. Here's a tip for Plato's Closet you want to stay open stop harassing your good customers with money
The atmosphere in the store is very unfriendly , as we checked out the cashier was so bland and did not even crack a smile, plus not even a thank you and come again at the completion of the checkout process. With that being said , I will not step foot in the Hickory store anymore. This is certainly a bad business practice and definitely doesn't attract and keep customers .
Great place to shop! Lots of new items for a great price! The people who work there are awesome! Would definitely shop there again.
