They lie about inventory levels and availability for shipping. Placed an order on 4/13 (which was a replacement order for items that shipped so late the last time they died), was promised over the phone that everything but two backordered items were in stock and would ship within 2 weeks. It's 6/14 and exactly 2 out of 24 items has shipped. I think they paid their marketing department a lot of money. I also think the company thrives on obfuscation, delay, and lack of reliability. They also keep the customer at comfortable arm's length when there is an issue.My first (and last) order seemed simple enough. ********** strawberry plugs... live plant.The company pumps the reader/customer full of promises to get a puchase to the customer promptly. This company is a scam. They send out catalogs under different names but if you look close, the catalogs are exactly the same with the same address. Phone numbers associated do not work, email (customer Service) does not get answered. I event mailed them a letter to stop charging my card after proving that I never received their product, no response. I found that today I was charged yet again 3 months after credit card company completed the dispute and listed them as fraud. Do not do business with them, period.

STAY FAR AWAY! I ordered in March 2021 and had to constantly follow up with them to get my order only to be told that you will get them when you get them. They ship with nothing to keep the plants hydrated, no soil and in a plastic bag, yes a plastic bag with holes from shipping and sticks poking out. Those sticks happen to be your trees. This company's customer service is awful. During spring shipping this company's phone is always busy, you email them and receive a generic return email that basically tells you they don't have time for you right now. Their shipping is so slow they missed spring planting and the way they ship indicates that they hate plants. Mine were shipped with no hydration material, separated by plant type in plastic bags as with the Astilbes all colors were shipped in the same plastic bag. Ordered fruit trees in April 2021. Receive them end of June. They were dry and dead. Called and asked for a refund. Could only get replacement plants and may not get until spring 2022. This company is terrible. They are dishonest cheats,

Farmer Seed charged my card right away and to this day have not got my trees. Keep getting told its getting shipped now and that was 3 weeks ago. Why is this business charged with theft? I read so MANY complaints. So wrong! Disgusting what they're doing to families and taking their money. So sad.

Worst experience with a business in my life!!! Placed a large order in January. Got seeds ok however asparagus rootstock was moldy when it arrived. Was told to just give it a chance. Then my tomato and pepper plants arrived dead/slimy (not viable at all). Requested replacement of both in april. It is late june and still no product. Near impossible to reach via telephone and when you do customer service reps sporting an attitude/unprofessional.
