Worst customer service policies ever. I ordered a specific climbing rose that I was so excited about. The plant is healthy and thriving, but once it bloomed, it was clear that it was the wrong rose. Their very old and outdated policy is that you must return the original shipping label in order to receive an exchange or return, EVEN THOUGH EVERYTHING ON THE SHIPPING LABEL IS ALREADY IN MY ACCOUNT WITH THEM! If there is anyway to give a rating below one star, I would. I ordered several items and one item was replaced since they did not have it in stock with something totally different. The only way I noticed was that there was a small label with the item number on the roots (not tree) that they shipped. This item number did not match what was on the shipping label. I ordered a Eucalyptus plant last year that arrived dead. The replacement plant this year arrived all dried up and dead. They will not replace the plant without my spending postage to send back the original shipping label
I ordered a dwarf North Star cherry tree. The tree was supposed to be 3-4 feet tall. I received a twig that was maybe 6 inches long. We called customer service, and had to mail the packing label back with a letter stating we did not get what we ordered. Do not order from Farmer Seed and Nursery. I ordered plants one month ago and they are still not here. Customer Service was NOT friendly. Arguing with me that it’s their busy season. You mean Spring?? Duh!!! When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told there was no one above them that takes calls. Explains a lot!

I ordered two corner grass gardens last spring 2018- all (10) of the oat grass arrived dead.The other grasses in the collection were serverly stressed and yellow as well. I was told by customer service to plant it anyway, which I did. Do not order from Farmerseed.com. their customer service is terrible and I am reporting them to the BBB. They sent me horseradish root and garlic in May even though they can't be planted until Fall, so when I went to plant them they were dead and moldy. The 2 blueberry bushes they sent are dead and they won't replace any of it unless I pay to ship it all back with a written explanation in the original envelope it came in!

Horseradish and Garlic can both be transplanted in spring in Colorado, and we do not see a request on your order asking that we hold shipment until fall. Negative - FALSE ADVERTISING. I purchased a "blue rose" advertised with a picture of a blue rose on the Inter-state nurseries website. Inter-State Nurseries AKA Plantron Nurseries: **** ** ******** *****Bloomington IL 61704. The rosebush we received was pink not blue. My dear mother planted it on the 1 year anniversary of my fathers death. His eyes were blue so we were hoping the blue would match his eyes.

Roses prefer acidic soil, so we might suggest adding an acidic fertilizer to your soil if the rose is light pink to see if that will adjust the color. Plants were dying when I received it (shipping too slow) planted it anyways, of course all the plants is now DEAD......poor quality. DEFiNITELY, Not recommended.
