RecommendedDoing business at this location for many many years, buying many many tires. Problem is setting appointments to buy tires, do rotation balance etc. it appears That stacking customers is the way things are there now. Set up an (appointment) had it confirmed twice and I showed up on time just to be waiting now 45 minutes and counting. Maybe hire more help?.
Very slow and refused to refund $ & give me my rims back even though they had not started work! Avoid this place! Not safe!!!

We are full time in our RV. We had a couple of flats on our Jeep that we tow. Was able to fix one flat, but the other one needed replaced. Since we were headed to Indiana to stay for a week, we contacted Discount Tire Plainfield on the phone, while we were on the road. They ordered the replacement tire and even contacted me when it was in. We were able to get an appointment quickly and had it replaced. Excellent customer service. They really went above and beyond to ensure our trip wasn’t delayed. Thank you!!
Walked in at 8:00am to have 4 tires replaced. Greeted by Wes who offered coffee and a warm smile. Wes is Very Knowledgeable of all brands of tires and was able to assist me w/ my questions and needs for the best (quiet and smooth) ride. Prices are fair and service is A-1! Definitely making Discount Tire my place for all of our tire needs! My car was out before 9:15am! That is impressive for a walk in on, a Saturday. Thank you!
Came in for a simple tire rotation. I was told wait time was an hour. Two hours later, after watching them take cars in that came in after mine, I inquired about my wait. I was told there were still 3 cars ahead of me. There were only 2 ahead of me when I got here. They just pulled a car in that's been here 10 minutes. I gave up and went elsewhere. Lost all future business. UPDATE, DROVE ACROSS THE STREET TO MIDAS AND THE CAR IS ALREADY BEING PULLED IN. Should have came here first.
they always take care of me, i made the mistake & went to another place once & had to come back to "my" store & they fixed the problem the other place couldn't. i have bought all my tires at this location for different vehicles.
I have had a little trouble with a tire on my large sized, newer SUV for a while. I had it checked at Nissan and they said everything was "fine". This morning, when it was 18 degrees, my tire "idiot" light warning sign was on and the tire pressure was down to 24 psi. So, I decided to go to Discount Tire in Plainfield and I am so GLAD I did.
