Genius concept! Approachable gourmet pizza in the shadows of Frasca's fine dining experience. Great staff. Incredible thin crust gourmet pizza (at altitude). Fun energetic vibe!
Pizzeria Locale makes authentic Neapolitan style pizza. This style of pizza generally has less cheese toppings than American style pizza and has a noticeable wet center in the pie. Be prepared to eat it with a knife and fork. The ingredients are fresh and seasonal with original combinations and flavors. The wine list is extensive and the atmosphere transports you to a fine Italian ristorante. A+ Molto bene!

As an Italian missing her home country, I can guarantee that Pizzeria Locale is the one and only real pizza in Boulder. Their awesome pizza as well as the super nice staff always make me feel a little less home sick. And a shoutout to their chef for experimenting great new recipes! Just had their new Pizza Calabria, mind blowing combination of flavors!! Keep up the pride of my Country, Locale!!
