As a nurse you are supposed to be unbiased. When you hold that type of hate in your heart, it's hard to provide safe thorough care to patients of color. I wonder how many African American people received less than quality care because she see us as monkeys. I'm an African American RN that lives through the day to day racism...that goes to work with the mindset to help all I can however I can despite people like Sara Wesley. Mercy Behavioral Health you're company will suffer with employees like this.
Once you see people are openly racist, you wonder if they don't give the proper care to the patients in their care... Just sad. Action needs to be taken! I wonder how many lives have been neglected on your racist nurses' watch.
Racist employees are not a place i will be receiving proper treatment.
I wouldn't feel safe coming to this place. We should feel safe in these type of environments. Such a shame!

Your facility has a very racist, ignorant, uneducated female working there. If there is no consequences made, I will have no choice to believe that your facility is indeed racist and inhumane towards residents she might view as "monkeys." I'm scared for your patient's welfare at this point.
