About this business

Since 1753, The Pirate's House has been welcoming visitors to Savannah with a bounty of delicious food and drink and rousing good times. Situated a scant block from the Savannah River, The Pirate's House first opened as an inn for seafarers, and fast became a rendezvous for blood-thirsty pirates and sailors from the Seven Seas. Here seamen drank their grog and discoursed, sailor fashion, on their exotic high seas adventures from Singapore to Bombay and from London to Port Said.

awesome experience. Great food and an awesome waitress, Natalie, she did a marvelous job. What a great place to have lunch. However, parking was very hard to find. Ask Natalie to post the picture of the ghost?

Not a great experience. I ordered the filet and I was NOT served a filet. I did question our server about it and he insisted it was a filet. I ate the mashed potatoes and asparagus that was served with the questionable steak. I asked around the city and found this is a common occurrence...trying to pass off lesser quality meats for the filet price. They did remove the steak from our bill. The building is cool but we saw no pirates as advertised.

Food was awesome! Was a fun experience and we loved the atmosphere. The pirate was a skinny girl who didn't come to our table so that was a little disappointing but I would recommend this Restaurant for charm and the quality of the food. We had shrimp creole, fried green tomatoes and the fried chicken! Was delishicous and good value for the price. Gift shop was fun as well.
