About this business

Since 1753, The Pirate's House has been welcoming visitors to Savannah with a bounty of delicious food and drink and rousing good times. Situated a scant block from the Savannah River, The Pirate's House first opened as an inn for seafarers, and fast became a rendezvous for blood-thirsty pirates and sailors from the Seven Seas. Here seamen drank their grog and discoursed, sailor fashion, on their exotic high seas adventures from Singapore to Bombay and from London to Port Said.

Food was very tasty, but it was overpriced. The service was subpar bordering on rude.

Service was good, ducked in there to avoid the rain, did the buffet, no seafood, pirates the sea? , but it was good Price $14 per person for buffet and no sea food, but never been there before so... Next time I will skip buffet and order some sea food

Love the history and age of this building. I also thoroughly enjoyed their luncheon buffet. The food was delicious and the price was decent, especially for the area. Will eat there again when we can return to Savannah.

Had the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese. Delicious!!! Had a glass of the local blackberry wine. It was wonderful. Tasted the local peach muscadine wine. Also very good!! Great atmosphere!!

Pecan crusted chicken is the best. Atmosphere is fantastic.

I was hoping for a more unique menu but that is my only complaint. The honey pecan fried chicken was a winner. Service was very very good and friendly. Be sure to do the little 5 minute tour at the end of your meal and one of the better gift shops in the area is upstairs.
