Since 1753, The Pirate's House has been welcoming visitors to Savannah with a bounty of delicious food and drink and rousing good times. Situated a scant block from the Savannah River, The Pirate's House first opened as an inn for seafarers, and fast became a rendezvous for blood-thirsty pirates and sailors from the Seven Seas. Here seamen drank their grog and discoursed, sailor fashion, on their exotic high seas adventures from Singapore to Bombay and from London to Port Said.

Great food! Great service! A must when visiting Savannah Georgia!
Great food and an even greater staff. Be sure to have the pirate take you on the 15 min tour!
We came on a Saturday just as the buffet was ending, but we were going to order off the menu any way. The service was wonderful. We each had a house wine which were very good. I had the crab melt which was tasty and my husband enjoyed the Reuben. We will definitely be back when in Savannah.
Food was very good. The Pecan Chicken excellent as was the Crab Cake but vegetables were cold and I never got my soup because the server did not write down the order. I would definitely go back though!! Didn't feel that it was a tourist trap, there is true history here.
Loved it, great food and desert for the price!! Waiter could be more friendly and patient., Loved the store and the pirate who was so nice stop for a picture.
Order the Chatham Artillery Punch. You're welcome
The food was good, and the atmosphere is awesome. I would recommend it to anyone staying in Savannah. However, one thing I was disappointed in was the waitress brought our check, set it in front of my husband, and said “Here’s your check sir.” I have paid for our bills throughout our anniversary trip and this is the only time it was ever implied that the man would be paying by default. I’d recommend training the wait staff to place the check in the middle of the table and say “Here is your check”. Otherwise, great experience... read more
It wasn’t a busy night; swift friendly service, food was very good.
The food here was to die for!!! The seafood soup and warm bread, my shrimp carbonara and my mother’s crab cakes was out of this world phenomenal!! Definitely need to visit while in Savannah!!
